The Gen IV 28mm AutoStop (Fits all width shades) features a manual 40.363 diameter that is equivalent to the size of a quarter.
It has 9 ridges and if your current stop is shorter in width, you can easily cut the new one to the desired length. Be careful of interference with the spring if not cut correctly. Some models may also have an idler attached to the stop, which can simply be removed from the old stop and placed onto the new one. This prevents any accidental adjustments off the ends of the threads.
